I was told at work that vibration was bad for me?

Bioline Whole Body Vibration is completely safe and excellent for the body.  Vibration, like weight, can be both good and bad.  Lifting weights in the gym can be very good for the body, but lifting heavy weights incorrectly, or for too long, can be very damaging.  Uncontrolled vibration from operating various industrial machinery and equipment for prolonged periods of time can be very damaging to the body.  The medical concerns expressed about vibration are specific to industrial situations based on hours of exposure not minutes and often at frequencies far lower or far higher than the frequency our platforms produce.

What is the difference between Vertical Vibration Technology and Tilt Vibration Machines?

There are two different forms of vibration technology available today.  Vertical Technology stimulates the body by causing the entire platform to vibrate with a rapid up and down movement.  Tilt machines use a platform that oscillates around a central axis, which causes it to rapidly tilt from side to side with a see-saw style motion.

Which is better, Vertical Vibration Technology or Tilt Machines?

There are clearly benefits that can be obtained from using Tilt Machines, and we will always demonstrate respect for our colleagues in the vibration industry.  However, our research has led us to the firm conclusion that vertical technology is in fact superior.  We strongly recommend trying both methods, and reading clinical reports, to determine for yourself which you feel is the best approach for you.  Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have about this issue.

Does Vertical Technology provide all the benefits that Tilt Machines can?

The answer is absolutely yes!  Though we have encountered misguided claims that Vertical Technology does not offer the same benefits as Tilt Machines, no independent, scientific support for such statements exists.

Does Vertical Vibration Technology improve balance?

Yes, Vertical Vibration Technology will greatly increase balance.  The principle of vibration technology works on the disruption of stability which causes an involuntary muscle reflex as the body tries to adjust.  Therefore, any application of vibration treatment using either Vertical Vibration Technology, or Tilt Machines, will result in improved balance.
